Practice Friday was a little windy but I got some good laps in on the Iron Mine Mx track.
Saturday I Went to staging for my first race. Pulled a decent 4th on the start, and turning into the endurocross section I tipped over in the corner. Trying to make up time, I started riding a little over my head (not good). Next lap I came into the same ...corner and lost my front end sending me over the bars into a bank of dirt head first! Took me a couple minutes to get up, once again I was determined to finish good still after my two crashes! Pushed it hard into the finish making a couple passed.
Staging for my second race, I decided to go with same gate as the first race. Pulled the best start ive ever had, 2nd behind my buddy Skyler Howes. Skyler went on to take the 1st overall. I lost the 2nd place start in the same corner as first crash. That corner wasn't my friend today! My buddy Damon Bush was racing for a championship with Colton Gubler, and in order to get the #1 plate he needed someone to finished in between him and Colton. The hole race me and Colton had a great battle and I ended up crashing in a sand corner on last lap to give the championship to Colton.
